Hi I'm Adrienne Hart

Daughter to an eternal mother, sister, wife to a wonderful husband, mother to 4 beautiful children and proud to be a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of 3 wonderful children and was re-married almost 3 years ago and added to the family a great step-son, an amazing husband, who was baptized almost 2 years ago, and our sweet dog Sara. I love going to the ocean with my husband and camping, hiking and just being with my family. My life evolves around my family. I am a stay at home mom and work occasionally for the school district. I was raised by the most amazing mom and have 4 siblings me being the second youngest. I love to read and listen to music, study the scriptures, play sports and love enjoying the outdoors. Life wasn't easy growing up but it sure was worth it.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a member of the church. A lot of people think that being born into the gospel makes things that much easier but it doesn't. The expectations are actually that much higher for us. We still have weaknesses and every person is different. We need to learn and grow into the gospel just like everyone else. I am a Mormon because I had a great role model. My Mom. My Hero. After my dad left, shortly after my sister was born, things could've gone really bad but my mom never gave up. She grasped onto the gospel that much harder. She literally turned her life over to her Heavenly Father. By so doing she began to pave the road for my brother and sisters and I. She made the choice to put her Faith in the gospel which allowed us to see with our own eyes the miracles and blessings that come from following the Lord's commandments. With the help of members of the church we were able to come out on top. Growing up my mom allowed us to investigate other churches but we always came back. We all knew this was where we needed to be. I relied on my mom's testimony for a while but she pushed me in the direction that I needed to gain my own testimony. Now for the last several years I have been building on my testimony of the gospel. I thank my mom for always having the faith and courage to not do what most people would have done in her situation. Given up! I am proud to be a Mormon and thank my Heavenly Father for giving me the courage and the faith to know that this is where I belong. I know this church is true. I have been tried and tested and have gone off the path a time or two but because of the Saviors sacrifice, he's made it possible for us to return to him. It may not seem like it at the time but I promise you, our trials are there to make us strong not weak. That is how he tests us. How will you do when you are tested? Open your heart and your mind and take a leap of faith and you to will see that these things are true.

How I live my faith

One day at a time. Family unity and values is my top priority as well as providing a Christ centered home where my children and husband can come home everyday and feel safe from the world. I am by no means perfect but I do strive for perfection. My faith is tested everyday raising 3-4 children and my patience can get away from me but I know that at the end of the day I can reflect back and see what I need to do better tomorrow. I try to keep my life as close to my Heavenly Father as possible by living the commandments to the best of my abilities. Remembering that my children are always watching me and learning from me, it is my responsibility that I set a good example and that they know how much I love them and their Heavenly Father loves them. Mormonism is not just about going to church on Sunday and that's it, it's a way of life. There are standards that I live by that help me be in tune with my Heavenly Father. I attend church meetings every Sunday and volunteer in the youth program as a secretary. A program known as Young Women's, for girls ages 12-18. I have voluntarily served in many other positions over the years in the church as well. But it doesn't stop there, Mondays is our Family Home Evening where we spend time together as a family without the distractions of everyday life. Where we learn good family values and really bond as a family. Wednesday nights we have youth activity night where I meet up with the girls from Young Women's. Here the girls bond with one another doing activities that strengthen them as youth. Especially in these days where finding a good wholesome and safe place for the youth to go to is hard to find. Once a month I have a companion where we visit a few women or sisters in the church to see how things are going and if they need any assistance that we might be able to provide them. This is how I live my faith. With a heart full of thanks that I can be an instrument in my Heavenly Fathers Hands every waking day.
