Hi I'm Steve

I'm a Mormon. I live in Arizona in a small community of about 2500 individuals.

About Me

I turned 70 years of age in November 2011. I am a retired school administrator. I am the father of four children, three boys and a girl, all of which are married and have children of their own. I have 12 grandchildren and two great grandchilden. I love to hunt, fish, and just be in the great outdoors. I also love reading, especially the scriptures and the words of the prophets.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were members of the Mormon Church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, so I came by it naturally. None the less, through personal study and prayerful consideration I have come to know by the power of the Holy Ghost that the Church is true. This I know and have no doubt about it.

How I live my faith

I try to be tolerant of all people regardless of what faith or culture they may be. In fact you may say I try to follow the admonition of Jesus Christ when he said that the first and great commandment was to love God with all your heart and the second like unto it, to love your neighbor as yourself.

What is done with the tithing that Mormons pay?

The monies given by members of the Church in tithing goes to the building of church meeting houses and also the building of temples throughout the world.   The monies are also used to help maintain and operate church meeting houses and temples. Show more Show less
