Hi I'm Richie Turnbeaugh

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints

About Me

I Love sports. I play basketball, football, and I ran track. I am a very outgoing person and I love to hunt and fish. I love mechanics and love to work. I have a wonderful family with my mom & dad & my four sisters. I also love being with my friends all the time. I have the most wonderful girl in my life that helps me out with alot of things and she is my greatest and closest friend and such a great example to me, her name is Kiley Walker! My family are all converts to the Church and the Gospel of Jesus Christ has truly changed my life, along with everyone in my family. Before we had the Gospel in our life as a family we weren't nearly as close and strong but now that we have it we have grown SO much closer and life is so much greater with it! I am truly greatful for it. I have a strong testimony and I know that the Book of Mormon is true, I know our Heavenly Father lives and he loves each one of us, I know he loves us because he sent his son Jesus Christ to Atone for us so we can return to him someday. I know this Gospel is "true" and is has blessed my life more than I could have ever imagined. I am currently serving a mission in the St. Louis Missouri Mission. I am loving it and there is no greater feeling than bringing someone closer to Christ and his Gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I live in a LDS community where it was almost all members of the church. As I was growing up I saw in all of my close friends and all of the families around us that they had something that I didn't have. They had a much greater happiness, and Love for their families, and cared about others, and they just had somthing about them that stood out so strongly to me! So as I went on in life I really looked up to all of them and then the missionaries came and taught my family and after a few years my parents excepted and we all got baptized eventually. I am a Mormon because there is no other or greater way to have ultimate happiness here in this life and the doctrines and principles that we live everyday help you so much in life! I am a Mormon because I know this is the ONLY true living Church here on the face of the earth, and it has changed my life completely for the better!

How I live my faith

I live my faith because I am out serving a mission right now. There is no greater work or happiness than serving the Lord and bringing others to the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

What do Mormons believe about family?

Richie Turnbeaugh
Family is the first and formost important unit in the Gospel of Jesus Christ that we, as Mormons, live each day. We don't only believe but we know that through this great gospel we can be together with our families for time and all eternity. Meaning after we die here on earth. There is no greater blessing than having our families and we know that is what all of these principles and teaching revolve around in our religion! Families grow so much stronger through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I know this to be true only because of personal exspirence through living the gospel in my family. It has helped all of our relationships grow stronger and we have alot more love and happiness in our family. Show more Show less
