Hi I'm Dominic

I grew up in central Scotland. I'm a graphic designer. I served my mission in New Zealand and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love graphic design! I attend College and am more than half way through my degree! Some of my hobbies include of course graphic design in its many elements. I love music. I started learning to DJ when I was 16 and have never lost the bug. I'm engaged to a beautiful fiancée and look forward to the day we'll be sealed in the Temple.

Why I am a Mormon

When we moved to Scotland in 1998 for my dad's new job, my mother decided to come out of less-activity and start going back to church. Us kids weren't baptised yet so she invited the Sister missionaries round for the lessons. I was 12 when I joined the church in 1999. I'm still a Mormon because of the witness I finally received when I was about 20 - 21 yrs old. I went to an appointment with the Elders. They were teaching this man who was struggling to find out through prayer whether the church was true or not and the Elders suggested we all prayed one by one, right there, right at that moment. When it was my turn I'd never felt anything so powerful, so emotional and so convincing as to the answer that the Book of Mormon was true. Knowing that meant Joseph Smith really did see the Father and His Son Jesus Christ. He really was a prophet. Christ really did die for my sins. God really does care. There really is a Heaven, and we can go there one day by following the steps the Lord has shown us. These feelings were solidified as I prepared and served a mission to New Zealand and taught the doctrines of the Saviour to the people.

How I live my faith

I've just returned from my mission so as yet I don't have a calling to do at church. As a missionary I found, taught, and preached the gospel of Jesus Christ every day, all day.

Are Mormons Christians?

Of course! We believe in the Bible and the Book of Mormon which is another witness of Christ and His divinity. Show more Show less
