Hi I'm Rex

I'm a grandpa. I love to cook. HO trains are my hobby. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a senior citizen who permanently resides in Lehi, Utah. I was born in Lincoln, Nebraska, and raised near Denver, Colorado in a suburb called Wheat Ridge. I attended a few different colleges, graduating from Northeastern Jr. College in Sterling, Colorado with an Associate in Science degree. I joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in 1967 as a direct result of my best friend's invitation. I met my wife through some Church activities, and we have 4 children and 11 grandchildren. I have many different hobbies and activities. I am interested in aviation. I have been an amateur radio operator for over 50 years, and am involved in barbershop singing.

Why I am a Mormon

Mormonism is a wonderful way of life. It gives me a solid foundation, knowing about my relationship with Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ. I love them and look forward to being with them after this earthly life. I am blessed every day by being a member of His true Church.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving a full-time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I serve in the family history center in our church building. This allows me to help others research their genealogy and at the same time do some research for my deceased ancestors. I teach a marriage enrichment class that can help others have a better relationship with their spouse. I visit the Temple as often as time allows. This brings an added measure of the spirit of the Lord into my life.
