Hi I'm Matt

I'm a Mormon. I am a full-time student and a part-time employee. I will be getting married this summer.

About Me

I am a junior at the university I attend. I am a construction management major. Until just recently, I played lacrosse here at the university level. I was able to be part of a national championship team. More important to me than school and athletics is my fiancee. We will be married in the temple this summer. I am very grateful for her and the way her faith blesses my life. Just like many people, I hope to have a wonderful marriage and a successful career.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family of the "Mormon" faith. My partents taught me about Christ's gospel. More importantly, they showed me Christ's gospel in action. I have been so fortunate to see so many good examples of Christlike people in my life. These examples have definitely had an impact on my openness to the teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints the "Mormon" church. However, I am not Mormon because someone told me I should be. I am not Mormon just because it makes logical sense. I am Mormon because I know in my heart that this is Christ's true church restored upon the earth. God's authority has been given to man again. Although life is not always easy, I know that God wants us to be happy and wants to bless us. Through this church, we make it possible for God to give us the fulness of His blessings.

How I live my faith

My faith affects the way I live every day. I read from the scriptures for a few minutes every morning before I do anything else. This helps remind me who I am and what I want to become. I pray to our Heavenly Father daily. This helps me to keep a personal relationship with Him. Although, I am far from perfect, I love the good feeling I get as I seemyself becoming better. I live my faith through many small decisions every day.
