Hi I'm Cherish.

I grew up in Salt Lake City. I am married to my best friend. I help people who are sick. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a daughter, sister, wife, aunt, and friend. I work as a Medical Assistant. I love my life, my job. I work hard to help others. I love to be with my hubby, play with my nephews, go bowling, see movies, listen to music, garden, and take pictures.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. My Mom died when I was 16, and I fell away from activity in the gospel. When I was 19, I met my very best friend and future husband, who asked me to go to the temple with him. I had some wrong doings to take care of, and after doing so, came back to activity in the gospel. I felt the spirit and love of my hubby, as well as my Father in Heaven. I knew that being part of the gospel was the right choice. I know that the gospel of Jesus Christ is true. That Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ live and know us personally, and love us individually. I know that Joseph Smith was called by God to restore the full truth in this dispensation. I know that Thomas Monson is the true and living prophet today. I am grateful for Jesus' atoning sacrifice as it has given me and all of us a chance to repent and live after our physical bodies die. I am grateful for Priesthood power on this earth. It blesses my life daily. I know that living the gospel is the difference between true happiness and sadness. Sometimes things and choices seem hard, however, with Heavenly Father to help us when we need, nothing is impossible. I say this in the sacred name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by praying each morning and evening personally and with my husband. We read the scriptures together weekly and discuss what we learn. I attend the temple, and work on genealogy. I try to constantly live as an example to those around me by being happy and offer service anyway I can. I teach the youth in my ward, as well as visit teach.
