Hi I'm David

I appreciate and love my family and enjoy spending time in the outdoors. I grew up in Idaho, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

An average guy pretty much sums me up, I think. I am married to a wonderful wife and going to college to get where I want to go in life. I like things pretty simple, I would spend all my time outdoors and out of school if possible but I haven't figured out how to do that yet. Whether it’s hunting or just going for a hike I enjoy the outdoors. I work construction while going to school to try and support my wife and I. I grew up working at our family log mill so I was able to learn to appreciate hard work and the outdoors.

Why I am a Mormon

Well the reason why I am Mormon isn't too complicated, it makes me happy. I believe God wants us to find the fullest purest joy we can in this life and in the next. That’s one of the many reasons why he gave us the gospel of Jesus Christ because it enables us to find joy now and in the hereafter. The entire and complete gospel is found in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Some examples in my life of that happiness I am talking about are a peace of mind knowing that my Father in Heaven loves me. My wife and I are happily sealed together for eternity. I understand why I am living my life and what the most important things I can do are. I have a road map for this life. All of that makes me so happy. Those are only a few reasons why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith from one day to the next trying to do what God wants me to do. I try so serve others who need help. I stand up for what I believe and take what comes with that. Sometimes that means, not always just going with the flow or not just doing and saying what others are doing and saying. That’s not always an easy thing to do. I am sure you can think of times in your life when It’s hard to stand up for what’s right. I am not perfect that’s for sure but I try to show my Father in Heaven how much I love him by living my faith.
