Hi I'm Henry

I'm a navy brat, born in Japan, and traveled the world, I'm a Student, a Husband, an Chemical Engineer, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I'm a husband and a College Student in Maryland. I'm studying towards a Bachelors and a Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering. I'm the oldest of four kinds in my family. I'm an avid cyclist I enjoy snowboarding, and all sports and forms of exercise. I work as a Pharmacy Technician right now to pay for school. I love to travel, my dad was in the Navy so I got to see the world, and would like to continue to do so. My favorite place to travel is Europe.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born the parents who were both members of the church, so I have always known the church and it's teachings. While as a teenager I went through my rebellions and really didn't want anything to do with the church and tried to distance myself as much as I could. I broke all the "rules" I wanted to and was well set to find my own way. After Graduating from high school I found my life at a standstill and I could not get my life on track. Until one sunday I went to church and decided to participate in the lessons, on that day one inspired woman that was present felt inspired to write me a note telling me she felt so strongly I needed to serve a mission. When I read that note the overwhelming feelings of love that I felt overcame me and I knew she was right. I didn't know this woman very well and had no reason to value her opinion, but her words spoke to my heart. I did serve a mission to the countries of Belgium and The Netherlands. My life has never been so fulfilling and happy. Since then my life has never slowed down, and I've never felt so satisfied with what I'm doing and knowing I'm on the right track as I do now. I know that God has watched over me my whole life, and guides me now. I know he brought me to the earth in his church for a reason. I also know this is his only true church on the earth.

How I live my faith

I'm involved in church leadership among the men over !8. I also work with the Cub scouts and Young men working towards obtaining their Eagle scout in the Boy Scouts of America. I visit different members of the ward on a weekly basis. I enjoy going out with the missionaries and visiting those they meet. I give rides to church to those around me who can't get there any other way.
