Hi I'm KaraLee

I read, SCUBA dive, have three kiddos that I adore, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small rural town in a family of six children. I met my best friend at a community college, married him, and have led a wonderful life with him for the last 9 years. We have lived in 7 different wards/groups and have lived a grand adventure--especially since I thought I'd marry a "home-grown" boy who would keep me in a small town near family. Home-grown he is, but in a small town and near family we are not! We have three children and they are the grandest adventure of all!

Why I am a Mormon

I was once told, by an advisor at school, that the day would come where I would wake up and think, "This is it? This is what life really is?" I don't know if I really believed him. At the time I was too busy with school, too busy getting married, too busy trying to figure out what my husband and I were going to do with our life together. But one day, a few years later, I woke up and thought, "This is it?" I am eternally grateful that when I asked myself that question, I had an answer to it. This IS it. The time is NOW. No matter how mundane daily tasks are. No matter where we live or how long we are going to be there. No more waiting for "someday" to happen. THIS is the time to live the way my Heavenly Father would want me to live, to serve my fellow-man, to prepare myself for Eternity. The comfort of knowing what my Heavenly Father's Plan is, is priceless. And THAT is why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I love working with people. There is nothing better than knowing you have helped someone in some way they needed. I have served in various ways for our church. Right now I serve as the Primary President--the organization for children ages 18 months - 12 years. I LOVE IT! I have also served as chorister, pianist, as a Visiting Teacher, in the Young Women program youth girls ages 12 - 18, and in the Relief Society women's organization. Serving others brings much satisfaction and is uplifting.

Do Mormons regard the Bible as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Absolutely! Some of my favorite stories come from the Bible Daniel and the Lions the story of Ruth and of course the Saviour's ministry. Show more Show less
