Hi I'm jon

I grew up in cache valley, Utah. I love cars. I'm a mormon

About Me

Right now I'm doing one the hardest things I have ever done in my entire life. But I plan on going to college up at Utah state after this hard thing. Something that I look forward to is marriage which will come in its own due time. I love to drive anything with wheels. One of my favorite resturants is Elso, there lunch special is outstanding. I enjoy my family and love everyone of them!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because my parents made the decision to have the missionary discussions. Now at that time I was around the age of seven or eight. My step dad (who is now my real dad) was already a member. My mom was baptized just a little bit before this. I made the decision to be baptized after going through the missionary discussions. But from the age of eight through my teenage years I had no idea what kind of decision I had made. Throughout junior high and high school I took a class called seminary. Long story short; the scriptures, the holy spirit, and the blessings recieved from living the gospel did not impact me until a piviting point and time in my life. Through repentance I was able to overcome my sins and past transgressions that were holding me back from recieving the fulness of gods blessings for me. My faith in jesus christ enabled me to recognize sin and transgressions not in harmony with the lords teachings and commandments. Later on in my late teenage years I started reading the scriptures. Because I had made the decision to change my life around I understood the scriptures more and best of all I grew closer to god.

How I live my faith

I love serving the lord in washington and that is my latest calling from the lord. Other ways I live my faith are helping those in need. I strive my hardest to exercise patience and charity (love) with those around me because that is one thing that I'm not the best at. Just things I can work on to help others out.

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

To invite others to come unto christ by helping them recieve the RESTORED gospel (not reformed by mans wisdom), through faith in jesus christ and his atonement, repentance, baptism, recieveing the gift of the holy ghost, and helping them to endure to the end. Show more Show less

Why is family so important to Mormons?

My family is very important to me. I cannot be happy in heaven without them being there with me to enjoy it to. Our families provide a setting for much of the growth we experience in life. In our families we love, serve, teach, and learn from each other. We share our joys and our sorrows. Family ties may bring us difficult challenges, but they also give us strength and some of our greatest happiness. The family is central to God’s plan for His children. It is also the central unit of society and the means for bringing children into the world where they can be loved, provided for, and taught truth and righteousness. Show more Show less
