Hi I'm Jodi

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of five children and that keeps me very busy! In my spare time I love to knit for anyone I can. My husband is very kind and actually wears the things I knit for him. My teenagers... well, they're teenagers. I also enjoy cooking, hiking and volunteering at my kids' elementary school.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love the Savior. I've tried to learn all I can about Him and live according to His teachings. I've read the Book of Mormon many times and when I do I feel closer to Jesus Christ and understand better what He wants me to do. Living this way helps me be a better wife and mother.

How I live my faith

Currently I'm a leader in the Relief Society, the church's organization for women. I love working with these awesome women and draw strength from their examples. It really helps to see how other women deal with problems in their lives and continue to be faithful followers of Jesus Christ.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Family is important because it is where everything in our lives begins. Our views of ourselves, others and then of the world are shaped by the things that happen in our homes. In the Mormon faith, we believe that families can be together after we die. I want the relationships that I have with my family, as imperfect and crazy as they sometimes are, to continue forever. I love my family and want us to be happy together. Show more Show less
