Hi I'm Jason

I own an insurance office in California. I am married and we are expecting a our first baby, I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am a drummer and played in a band during high school and college. I also enjoy outdoor activities such as wake boarding, horse riding, and camping. I started an insurance agency almost 5 years ago and working hard to build up my office so that I can support my future family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a Mormon family, but like all of us I had to decide what path I would choose. I had little doubts in my life about the church, and I could not deny the promptings of the Spirit I had felt throughout my life, teaching me of the truthfulness of the gospel. I choose to serve a mission, and in doing so it strengthened my commitment to my Savior even more. I also learned more about other religions, and about the confusion that exists in regards to religion. I never experienced this type of confusion growing up as a Mormon. I knew that this was because we had a prophet on the earth today to teach us just like Abraham, Isaiah, and Moses of the Old Testament. Because we have a prophet on the earth today I know where I came from, and how to get back to my Heavenly Father. I also know that if I accept the Savior as my Redeemer and follow the steps that he has laid out for us that I will be together with my family for eternity. Without the knowledge of temples that we have received from latter day prophets and the saving ordinances that are performed in them life would be much more uncertain. I have come to know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true and living church upon the earth today and has the fullness of the gospel that will help us get closer to Christ than any other church. That's why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I am the "executive secretary" of priesthood group, which means I help organize the responsibilities assigned to the men of our "ward" or local church, that are assigned to us by the Bishop. I team teach the 4-5 year old children with my wife during Sunday school. I also home teach members of our ward that I have been assigned to at once per month to teach in their home, and check on the welfare of their family.
