Hi I'm Mindy

I am in love with nature, I have a passion for words, and I crochet on the weekends. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have a passion for learning that translates into almost any subject. I studied English in college and believe there is nothing better than a pen and blank page of paper. I love going to the temple, serving the Lord, traveling, meeting new people, listening to amazing music, having dance parties in my room by myself, crocheting scarves, reading self-help books, and of course...spending time with my family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up in Southern California I went to a large high school with a small amount of Mormons. I had people questioning me daily on why I didn't drink, smoke, or dress immodest and I wanted to give them solid answers. In my inquiry to questions I always found answers, this was the beginning of a love of studying the scriptures. Questioning is the beginning of knowledge, and I am so glad that I was pushed, questioned, even mocked, because in that struggle I found out truth and was able to share it with others.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being a disciple of Jesus Christ. Being a Mormon is following the Savior, and recognizing that it takes His help to do that. I served a mission teaching, serving, and testifying of Jesus Christ, which has been one of the crowning events of my life as I was able to feel a portion of the love God has for his children. My favorite thing is to testify of the restoration of Christ's church and of the prophet Joseph Smith's role in restoring these truths, especially through translating the Book of Mormon. I love it with all my heart.
