Hi I'm Nevin

I am in ROTC at BYU-I, I am going on my mission in April to the Philippines and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am 19 I am going to the Philippines for my Mission in which I will be serving the Lord for 2 years. I am in College at BYU-I for a semester before my mission I am majoring in Paramedicine. After getting off my mission I will be enlisting and continuing my education. I love the church and my faith in the Lord has helped me get through some tough times in my life. I can always count on those in my family and church ward (area) to be there for me!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church. I have continued going because i believe heartily in what its teachings and moral standards are. I believe that the church is led by a Prophet that is called of God and that our church is led by Jesus Christ through his servants. Recently my testimony of the church has been strengthened through General Conference and how many of the speakers told of how to get stronger testimonies! This was a couple of weeks after i starting praying for the ability to grow mine! cool beans!

How I live my faith

My friends at school all know that I am a Mormon and they respect me for it. I have never been asked to do drugs or drink by any of them.I am the acting 1st assistant in my youth age group, I actively try and help my fellow youth in coming to church activities. How ever I never force anyone to everyone has the freedom of choice.

How are the activities of the Mormon missionaries funded?

Nevin
They are funded by themselves or their families. Each missionary must raise around $10,000 for their mission this will cover everything except the clothes that you buy before your mission. So housing, food, and car if there is one for your mission area.   Show more Show less
