Hi I'm Steve

I moved around a lot with my family when I was growing up. I love the freedoms of my country.

About Me

I am a father of four great sons and a husband for 30 years to a wonderful wife. My wife calls me a work-a-holic, I call it a strong work ethic. I enjoy most sports although I have come to an age where my ego no longer is stronger than my intellect and I have learned that I no longer can participate in some of the sports I enjoyed when I was younger. I still enjoy hunting on occasion and most anything that can get me outdoors to enjoy the beauties of this great creation called earth.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the strong principles that were taught to me by my Methodist mother and Catholic father. With the help of good friends in high school I was able to gain a strong testimony of the truthfulness of the restoration of the gospel to the earth in these the latter days. I was fortunate to have chosen well in my youth and those choices gave me the freedom now to be able to live my faith. I continue to grow in my love for the Savior to all mankind. I know that we can each have a personal relationship with God and that he recognizes us as his children and loves and cares for us as such. My love and faith in the Savior are the strength that keeps me going in this troubled world. It gives me the courage to face adversities and challenges and to conquer them.

How I live my faith

Family values have taught me the importance of service to others. I enjoy working in my local church unit with other adult men who share common interests and desires to serve. We help in looking out for the needs of the widows in our congregation and others in need whether it be physical, mental or spiritual. I regularly visit members of our local church unit and present lessons that might help them and their family situations.
