Hi I'm Jamie

I am a Bay Area native and work in the healthcare field. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married with two children. I work full time. My husband is not a member, but he does attend church and church functions occasionaly. In my spare time I enjoy watching my son play t-ball, playing with my both my kids, scrapbooking alone or with friends, making hair bows, baking all sorts of sweet things to eat, learning more about my husbands family history & geneology work.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to a mormon family with strong pioneer roots. I enjoyed church growing up. When I was a teenager, I lost my focus in church and starting to hang out with the wrong crowd. All along, I never lost my testimony. I eventually made my way back in my early twenties by starting to attend church regularly. I was called to the nursery which was a very special time in my life. I enjoyed the spirits of those sweet children who I learned from every week. My testimony grew stronger. I have always known that Joseph Smith was a true Prophet of God. I started to study church history & learn more about my mormon ancestors. I have a testimony that when you are doing geneology work, you are prompted where to search by the spirit.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church regularly, remembering the covenants I made with my Father in Heaven through baptism and the Temple. I strive to teach my children about Jesus through scripture and by my example. I am an active member in my wards Relief Society, which is our "womens group". I print out the monthly announcements and decorate our bulletin board in the church hallway. I enjoy getting to know the sisters in my ward through visiting teaching. They each bring a special spirit with their friendships.
