Hi I'm Emily Cardon

I am studying art, have a passion for life. I am a Mormon

About Me

I am currently serving a mission for the Lord in the Oklahoma City Mission, I love spending my time teaching people about Jesus Christ! I am the youngest of eight children and have had all kinds of experiences through my short life here on this earth. I was raised in Utah, a member of the LDS church, but I haven't always known or believed. I have a firm testimony that all people must come to their own conversion and understanding of who the Savior is to them. I really love art, music and movies but most of all I know that God our Father speaks, today as He did in times of old, and that He has reached out again and called another prophet to guide us and love us.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a Mormon I have come to know my true father, my Father in Heaven. He loves me and cares for me, and He would never do anything to hurt me. I know that God has made a plan for us, and that through the loving atonement of His Son Jesus Christ we can all return to His loving arms. I am a Mormon because I believe there is a life after death, I believe that Heavenly Father has a prophet here on the Earth today that guides this church, His only true church on the Earth today. I am a Mormon because I have felt the sweet spirit comfort me, even when I felt no one could ever comfort and heal me.

How I live my faith

Faith is a very important part of my life, I try to live it in everything I do. Walking down the street I offer to help an elderly woman rake leaves, I help a mother carry in groceries and her little baby. I do everything I can to stay happy because I know that is what I like to see in other people, but I also smile and talk to others particularly those that look sad. Faith to me is not about reading my scriptures and praying always, it is more than that, it is living what I learn and feel every time I do those things.

What is Mormonism? OR What do Mormons believe?

Emily Cardon
As a Mormon we believe that the was a life before this one, and will be a life after this one. We believe in God the eternal Father and that He has a Son, our brother, who came to this Earth and atoned for the sins of all of mankind. We believe that every person comes to this Earth and lives a life, every persons life is not the same but we all make mistakes. It is the power of the great atonement that we can all be forgiven and live once again with of Father in Heaven. Show more Show less

What is being a Mormon like?

Emily Cardon
Being mormon can have its troubles, just like anything else. But being mormon fills me with an unmeasurable amount of joy. It gives me purpose in life and allows me to see a point to all the suffering on the earth. Show more Show less
