Hi I'm Brandon Nichols

I'm from Alaska, I'm a Husband, I served a mission in South Dakota, I'm an Apprentice Electrician, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 22 years old, I am from Fairbanks, Alaska. I was born in Salt Lake City and raised in Levan, Utah till I was twelve then moved to Alaska due to my dad's job. I am currently living in Star Valley, Wyoming I am currently a Missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I served my mission in the South Dakota Rapid City Mission and I loved it! I served in "Bismarck, ND", "Huron, SD", "Fort Yates, ND", "Aberdeen, SD", and "Sheridan, WY". After my mission I was quickly picked up by my wife Christy. We were married on August 6, 2013 in the Salt Lake Temple. I am an Apprentice Electrician for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 322 Casper, WY. I went to Lathrop High School in Fairbanks, Alaska. Graduated May 2010. I love sports. In football, I am a Linebacker, Fullback and Tightend. In Baseball, I am an Outfielder and a Catcher. I also Wrestled at 215lbs and I also Ballroom Dance. My high school's ballroom dance team took 3rd in the National Dancesport Championships at BYU back in March of 2008.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church ever since I was born. I have been active in the church my whole life. My last two years of high school I lived away from my parents because they moved to a small town 150 miles south of Fairbanks. I wanted to finish school at the high school I started at and I wanted to play sports. The school where they moved to had sports but not the ones I played. I had a rough time living on my own spiritually, but physically I was having a blast. I made a lot of wrong decisions that took me away from the things I knew were right. After graduation and moving back with my family, I was still the same person I was in high school. I was still making the wrong decisions. One day a missionary who was serving in the branch I was in gave a talk in church. This talk was very inspiring to me. I knew I had to do something. I felt moved by this missionary. As he ended his talk with his testimony I knew that I was to serve a mission. The repentance process was hard, but it was worth it. I am now a Missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Since I have been out in the Mission Field, my mind has become enhanced with the scriptures and my studies of the church doctrines. I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the Lord's Church restored in the last days. I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being an example to others. I strive to do my best everyday. I do my best at following God's commandments and keeping my covenants that I have made with Heavenly Father.
