Hi I'm Stephen Harper

I 'm a Canadian, Im a video maker, I'm a Missionary, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Grew up in Alberta, Canada with my family of three sisters and a brother. I was born in the church. Usally spent most of my time making videos or hanging out with friends or family especially my nephews. Currently serving in the salt lake city south mission.

Why I am a Mormon

For a long time it was because I enjoyed the morals of the church and the many programs like E.F.Y., Young Mens, and seminary. But then, through prayer, I came to the knowledge that it was true. I received an answer through prayer so that I know this church is true, and all it's principals and teachings also. And I will follow it through and through because it is the best way to live.

How I live my faith

By helping others who are in need, trying to do my best to be more like Jesus.

Who chooses the Mormon prophet?

Stephen Harper
In simplest terms god does. In a bit more depth, after the death of the current prophet the keys to receive revelation is with the quorum of the 12 apostles. These 12 men hold the priesthood which is the authority to act in god's name. There are several levels of the priesthood that can beheld, and they hold the highest on the earth at this time. They have been sustained unanimously by the entire church to their callings. They meet in prayer and fasting to decide who will be the next prophet. God reveals it to all of them, that person is called as the new prophet. God chooses the L.D.S. (Mormon) Prophet. Show more Show less
