Hi I'm Aimee

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a mom and love every minute of it. I have three terrific kids who have taught me so very much. My husband is a blessing in my life. I have much to be grateful for... of course that doesn't mean my life is devoid of challenges. We've had our share, but overall, I'm very blessed. I had the opportunity to finish college and work for a time, but stopped when the kids came. Now, other than chase kids or drive them somewhere, I spend a great deal of time volunteering in the schools, occasionally I substitute teach. I also enjoy gardening. It's fun to see things grow - both children and plants!

Why I am a Mormon

I was introduced to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints while in high school. I had been searching for the purpose of life. The gospel of Jesus Christ gave me answers. I'm so grateful I discovered why I was here on the earth and where I was going after this life. My life has purpose now and that has made all the difference. Occasionally I question again, my extended family aren't members of my church and their lives are good, but when I take my questions to the Lord in prayer, the peaceful answers follow and I know I am following His plan. I'm so very grateful for the Savior's great gift to us through the atonement. It is a wonderful thing to repent and begin anew. Life is good!

How I live my faith

Through my volunteering, I've had the opportunity to mentor a few middle and high school students. They have taught me much, I hope they feel the love of Christ through the love I feel for them. I honestly believe that when you are in the service of your fellow man, you are in the service of your God. I suppose my greatest acts of service and those which have occupied the largest portion of my time, are those for my family. But I know it is this service to my family that is of most importance.
