Hi I'm Sister Heather Lopez!

I'm a Mormon because my life has always been the best when I follow the teachings of the Savior. I used to think the church was holding me back but now I know it was protecting me from things. I learned that the church was the reason I didn't have more problems. I love the joy and happiness I get from trying to become like the Savior. He is the epitomy of service and sacrifice.

While I was at a church school it was easy to live my faith because so many around me were. I try to make more of an effort though and go the extra mile. I've done service at the Food and Care Coalition in my town, and volunteered hours pf service at my old high school with the school's Social Work. We implemented several programs there to help the students. I love that I can do social work as a professional job but I'm not going into it for the money. I plan to volunteer still even when I do get a good job because the Lord said "Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.” (Matt. 25:37–40.) I am currently serving a mission and trying my best to serve the people I come in contact with. I try to share the love and light of Christ with everyone and try to act as He would.
