Hi I'm Tyler

I'm a husband to an amazing wife, father of triplets and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

IT security specialist by day; triplet jungle gym by night. I am blessed to be married to the most amazing and supportive wife. I was lucky enough to have her chose me to be her eternal companion. I love the time we get to spend together. We have three beautiful children; who all decided to join our family on the same day. While it isn't easy being a parent it is truly rewarding. I have no greater joy than to witness the progression of my children. I have lived in Utah, Venezuela, and now make Colorado our home.

Why I am a Mormon

My family has been members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for several generations now. I'm grateful for my heritage in the Church. As a youth I was able gain a simple testimony of the Church. I felt peace and an overwhelming sense of truthfulness as I read the Book of Mormon and prayed about it. My understanding and testimony of Jesus Christ and His Church deepened as continued to study the Book of Mormon, pray, and live the gospel as I served as a missionary. I grew to understand that commandments weren't restrictions, but guidelines to be personally free of vices. I learned that God keeps His promises. He will bless us as we keep His commandments. I gained a testimony that Jesus Christ lives. I have a testimony that He knows us and we can know Him. I strive to live my life in a Christ like way, and as I continue to do so I learn more of Him each day. What better way to get to know the Savior of the World, then strive to be like Him? God's commandments are a blue print; a model of who the Savior is. By obedience to His commandments we start to develop the traits and qualities like Him. I can think of no more peaceful and happy way to live a life and raise a family than centered in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I think of the kind of people I want my children to be. I hope they learn to be kind, virtuous, honest, have charity, provide service, demonstrate personal responsibility and in every way be Christian. I know that as I teach them the principles of the gospel of Jesus Christ and live them myself, they will learn to be like Christ and be able to have His peace with them throughout their lives.

How I live my faith

I strive to be an example of Christ each day to everyone I meet. I currently serve in the Church with the teenage young men. I am awed by the examples that they are. Even with shifting values in the world, they are able to be powerful examples of Christ. I am thrilled to serve in the Church in that capacity. I feel great peace as I serve others and love to do so.
