Hi I'm Hyesuhn

I'm Korean-American from San Diego. I have a passion to be a Special Needs Teacher. I enjoy meeting new people. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a missionary serving in New York. I love to dance. I love to sing. I love to love, and I love laughing. I love to finger paint, I am a kid at heart. I love to be asked questions that make me think more than I normally would. I am always up for something new. I am the oldest of five. I love homemade korean food, no one can beat homemade food. I love to live life full of love, laughter, family, friends, and the gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church; I was baptized when I was eight on Dec. 5.( I have the date on my sciptures.) Though I have been a memeber for my whole life I like to say my conversion story was around the age of 16. A young man that I knew was getting baptized and I was given the honor to talk at his baptism. Before the baptism had started, my nerves were getting the best of me. Seeing my frazzled state he simply said "Have Faith." For me that was a time I began to exercise my faith. I always knew I could never deny that the church was true but I could not say the same way others could when they bore their testimony. Through my trial while having faith in my Savior, in gospel princple, keeping the commandment, following the prophet, having hope and charity that through the Atonement of Christ, I can have peace and joy in my soul, comfort to my heart that the Savior lives and Loves each one of us. That even a broken heart can be whole again.

How I live my faith

I have lived my faith by keeping the commandment and following the prophet. I believe one of the biggest ways that has had far reaching influence in my life are hope and charity. Not charity that only helps a person in need but to see others as Christ would see them and love them in that way, knowing that we are all children of our Heavenly Father. I have come to know personally that hope comes through faith in Christ and His Atonement. I have come to know this because it has been the light in my life to get me through the hard times. Now I strive to help others come unto Christ as a misisonary. I desire that everyone has the opportunity of hope and peace from coming unto Christ by faith in Him, Repentance, Baptism, recieveing the gift of the Holy Ghost, and Enduring to the end so we all may find our way back to our Heavenly Father together. We are all children of God. I live faith by doing my best to live as He would have me live.
