Hi I'm Megan Ruth

I love to make things, help people, and laugh. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a short but spunky girl that LOVES to have fun. I love to be outside and play. Creating things is really what makes me happy! I love to take material and transform it into something beautiful and funky when I quilt! I really enjoy spending time with family, especially when I can get them to play games with me. I am a lifelong student and love to learn. I am almost finished with my bachelors degree.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because it makes me happy. I am mormon because it gives me hope when I feel like there is nothing to hope for. The world is kind of a scary place but with the Gospel of Jesus Christ in my life I am still able to find happiness. I have come to know that God is aware of my and my individual problems. So although I don't have all the answers to life's questions I can still find peace and reason in a very unreasonable world. I know that God loves me and my family. Every time I study and read in the Book Of Mormon I feel peace and comfort. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and that Joseph Smith translated it. The Book of Mormon helps me to know what to do so that i can follow the example of Jesus Christ and become like him. It helps me to have faith that even though I make mistakes I can change and repent to become more of what God wants me to be. The Church of Jesus Christ helps me to become what God wants me to be and helps me to become what I want to be. I love my savior Jesus Christ and am so grateful for him and I feel that when I attend church each Sunday. I love my Father in Heaven and am grateful for the blessings he gives me.

How I live my faith

I try to be an example of Jesus Christ in everything that I do, try is the key word because I am not perfect at it, and I most certainly make mistakes. I try to be willing to help those around me and serve those who need it! For me living my faith includes striving to understand and love other people. I think that trying to become better each day and improve myself is a way that I live my faith. That work each day gets me just a little bit closer to being an example of my Savior and that is my goal.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Megan Ruth
You can know that Mormonism is true by praying and asking Heavenly Father if it's true, read in the Book of Mormon and pray to ask if it's true, then attend church meetings on sundays. If you do those things sincerely you will come to know that Mormonism is true. Show more Show less
