Hi I'm Dennis

My wife introduced me to the Church. I joined the Church just after we got married. It was one of the best decisions of my life.

About Me

After joining the Church, my wife and I have always been active, attending our regular meetings, and striving to live the standards taught in our regular church meetings. I have found this to be a great help, as we live correct principles Personal and family prayer twice daily, personal and family daily scripture study, weekly family home evening, regular temple attendance, and “have fun”. If you are not having fun in the Gospel, you are missing the point of it. I enjoy my family. My wife and I have 5 children, and 10 grandchildren. We enjoy being with each other whenever we can. My favorite hobbies are fishing, boating, model trains, and making or fixing things. I am known as McGyver in my family. As a family, we enjoy all these activities.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ is true. I have a testimony that we are baptized through faith, and repentance. I have received the Holy Ghost after baptism, and know I can rely on the Holy Ghost to guide me in all righteous things. I believe in God the Father, his Son Jesus Christ, and the third member of the Godhead, known as the Holy Ghost, or comforter. I can serve in callings in the church, usually in the Ward where I am a member, and be of service to others in the Ward.

How I live my faith

I can serve other people in the Church, and in the community. I can help people improve their lives. My family members have grown up to be good members of the Church, and I give a lot of credit to the way we live in helping my family members grow in the Church, and be good citizens in this great nation of ours. I have served in Priesthood Leadership, as Financial Clerk taking care of ward finances, and sending missionary checks in a timely manner, as Ward Clerk taking care of ward and membership records, as Sunday School Teacher, Boy Scout Leader, and others. These have all helped build my testimony, and allowed me to be of service to my fellow Ward members.
