Hi I'm Kevin
I grew up on a small farm. I have earned bachelor, masters, and doctorale degrees. I am a college dean. I'm a Mormon.
About Me
I am a husband, father of four children, and a grandfather to two wonderful grandchildren. I teach music at a university and am currently serving as a college dean.
Why I am a Mormon
It would be easy to simply say that I belong to the Church of Jesus of Latter-day Saints because my family has been a part of this church for four or five generations. While that is true, it does not tell the complete story. A more full understanding includes personal feelings of peace, joy, and comfort; all attributes of a deeper spiritual feelings that it is right. As my family and I adhere to the tenants of this faith, we collectively and individually receive a witness it is true. Even in times of trial and commotion, the sense of peace is real. All that being said, it's really about loving the Lord, Jesus Christ. I have many faults but I feel my love of the Lord is sure and without reproach. I am and continue to be a member because of this love.
How I live my faith
I live my faith by visiting families in my community to offer support in times of need and offer my friendship always. I serve in a leadership capacity in the Church and assist in ministering to others in the community.
