Hi I'm Samuel

I live in England, I'm a university student and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I live in England and I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. From 2010-2012 I served as a missionary for the Church in the England London South Mission where I developed a great love of sharing the knowledge that I have of Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, inviting others to also experience the great blessings that I have received. I work part-time as a teacher in the Preston, England Missionary Training Centre and have the privilege of instructing and preparing young men and women to go out and serve as full-time missionaries for the Church. The greatest joy in my life is my wife, we love spending all of our spare time together and endeavour to love and serve one another. We are both full-time students at University. I am currently studying a Masters degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Manchester, England. I marvel at the beauty and achievement of structures and buildings that create a legacy lasting for many generations. I dream of being able to design and build, creating a better society and to protect the magnificent world in which we live. I enjoy watching and playing football, I am a keen supporter of Manchester United. I enjoy going new places and staying active.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church by my parents but during my teenage years I gained a firm conviction that the Book of Mormon is true and that Joseph Smith is the translator, that he saw God and Jesus Christ and was called to be a Prophet of God to restore Christ's Church. This testimony of the Book of Mormon was increased during my mission where I saw it change many peoples lives. I know the Book of Mormon is true because I have read it many times, followed its teachings and experienced for myself the blessings which come from doing so.

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday. I am proud of who I am, what I have done and what I know to be true. I seek to share with others the knowledge which I have gained about God, Christ and the Book of Mormon and to invite others to learn of Christ. In every aspect of my life I constantly uphold and live the standards and commandments which I know to be just and true. I serve in the Church voluntarily and find great joy and satisfaction from doing this.
