Hi I'm Gunther

I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I was baptized when I was 17. I have 4 Children.

About Me

I am married to a wonderful woman and we are the parents of 4 children, a boy and 3 girls. We live out in the country and try to get out and enjoy the mountains as often as we can. I am the CEO of our family business Idaho Sewing for Sports. I am CFO of Linked Assets, LLC. I am also a board member of the Northwest Intermountain Manufacturing Association I am Chairman of Idaho Lewis County Economic Development Council.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized some time after the rest of my family was baptized. My view at the time was, "why not I have to go to church anyway". However, after a short time I truly felt a burning to know if what I was learning was true. After some prayer and reading I was reading a passage of scripture in the Book of Mormon that truly spoke to me. I felt as if my Heavenly Father was speaking to me personally. As the spirit surrounded me like a warm blanket I knew the restored gospel was true and to this day I do my best to live up to my Heavenly Father's expectations.

How I live my faith

I believe that one main reason we are here, in this life, is to use the blessings, (skills, talents, money, etc) our Heavenly Father has given us, to make the lives of those around us more enjoyable, easier, or more fun than they might be otherwise.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Gunther
Members of the church do not only help other members. I believe the Lord would have us use the blessings he has given us to bless all others we come in contact with. I do my best to live my life in this manner. Show more Show less

What blessings can you receive from reading the Book of Mormon, the Bible, and other scriptures?

Gunther
Heavenly Father has given us these scriptures so he can speak to us. Many times after prayer over a certain issue or problem that I may be having I find the answer in the scriptures. Just by reading I find the pages seem to be speaking to me directly. It is a very secure feeling to know my Heavenly Father knows exactly what I need to succeed in this life. Show more Show less
