Hi I'm Kelsie

I'm a wife, I'm mother of 3 boys, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live a very busy life just chasing 3 boys around the house. My husband is in Medical School and we love hanging out when Daddy is home!

Why I am a Mormon

Both my parents are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, so I grew up learning the teachings. I have always felt in my heart that Heavenly Father knows me and loves me, and His Son, Jesus Christ, is my Savior. In high school, I was praying to receive an answer to a question I had. One afternoon, I was reading a book for school and received an answer. The answer was so clear, I could almost see the words in my head. Because I was reading a book and not thinking about the question I had, I knew that the answer had not come from my own thoughts. In that moment, I knew that God is real, and He answers prayers. But most importantly, because He had answered my prayer, He knows me, He knows my needs and He loves me. I know that Heavenly Father loves each of His children and wants us to allow Him to guide our lives.

How I live my faith

At church, I am a teacher for the nursery children, or the children under 3. I have a son in the nursery with me and I love playing with all the kids, reading books, singing songs and learning about Christ. I really love how they absorb what we teach, and how their eyes light up when they learn something new about Christ. I am also a visiting teacher, this is where me and another woman in our community, go over to 2 other friends' homes to get to know each other, help with their needs and share a gospel message. I enjoy teaching my boys about the gospel. It's rewarding when they recognize a picture of Christ, or the prophet, or of a scripture story. Right now they really love looking at the picture stories about the Prophet Joseph Smith. They know the story of the First Vision, where Joseph Smith saw God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ.

Can husband and wife be together forever? Do you believe that families will live together in heaven?

Kelsie
A husband and wife's marriage can be sealed for forever, through the blessings of the temple. This also means that children are also sealed to their parents, and can live together forever in heaven as a part of an Eternal Family. I am grateful beyond words to know that I can have my family together forever, through living faithful to our Savior, Jesus Christ. Show more Show less
