Hi I'm Jordan

I was born and raised in Colorado. I love woodworking and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Jordan Morgan. I was born and raised in Alamosa Colorado. I went on a 2 year mission to Sacramento California searving the Laotian people. I now speak fluent Laotian and a little Thai. I love building furniture and many other things out of wood. I will be going to college at BYU provo majoring in Accounting!!!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church but I still had to find out for myself if this is something that is true and that I do want in my life. Through much scripture study and much prayer I have felt the love of God so much in my life that I truly do know that this is true and it is something that I desperately need in my life. I know that God is there and he truly loves us and is there to help us as long as we are there for Him!

How I live my faith

I believe it is very important to be close to our heavenly father and the best way I have found myself close to God is to truly pray and read from the scriptures and to go to church with the intent to do better. I must be patient and humble and I know I will come closer to God.

Who was Joseph Smith?

Jordan
Joseph Smith was the prophet that God called to bring back all of the lost teaching from the world such as the power to preform miracles, authority from God, and knowledge concerning life after this Earth life. Joseph Smith was called while he was praying to know the way. In the scriptures he read that there is one Lord, one faith, and one baptism (Ephesians 4:5). Joseph wanted to know the way but was confused because of all the different churches that taught different things. He knew they all could not be true because they taught conflicting doctrine. When Joseph prayed for answers, God and Jesus Christ literally appeared to him and told him not to join any of the Churches because they were all missing parts of the truth. They called him to restore , or bring back, the things that were lost so we can have the complete truth of the gospel. Show more Show less

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Jordan
God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Throughout history God has always called prophets to lead his Children into ways of righteousness. Without these prophets, people would be lost and unsure what to do. The prophet is like God's translator. Because we cannot understand everything God wants of us, he uses prophets to convey his teaching to us. I believe God loves us just as much as he loved people who lived in the olden days so it only makes sense that he would send us prophets also. Show more Show less
