Hi I'm NickScoville

When I am in the Service of My Fellow Beings, I am only in the Service of My God! I live this Scripture on a Daily Basis!

About Me

I am currently serving as a Missionary in the Idaho Nampa Mission! I love being a missionary and sharing special moments when others bring themselves closer to their Savior Jesus Christ! In high school I was a Theater Guru and loved being the Stage Manager and watching and helping the actors become the best they could be! I also love to play soccer and basketball and love to stay active with my friends! I love to meet new people and get to know them better! I love helping and giving service to everyone! Giving service makes me feel so good inside and I love putting a smile on Everyone's Faces!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it makes me Happy! I love Everyone and love the teachings of the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving My Savior Jesus Christ by being a Missionary and being an Instrument in His hands. I go about my days by putting all my faith in the Lord because I know that He will come through in the end for me!

What do Mormons believe is the purpose of life?

NickScoville
Mormons believe that the purpose of life is to come down to Earth so that we may be tested here on Earth. We are each given a family who is there to help us strive to become a better person. We also believe that our purpose here on Earth is to become closer to our Heavenly Father and that one day we can become just like him. I personally believe this to be true because I know that my Heavenly Father has helped me to grow through my mistakes and that I have become so much closer to him through out the years. Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

NickScoville
No but it is highly recommended for the Men of ages 19 to 26 to serve a Mission. I am currently on my mission in Boise Idaho. I chose to serve my mission because i wanted to give back to My Heavenly Father by bringing others unto Christ and helping people to change there lives around for the best. Show more Show less

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

NickScoville
As Mormons we believe that it is our duty to serve everyone. So to answer this question the answer would be No. One of our beliefs is that we should love our neighbors as well as love our enemies. Our church has helped many people who are in need of help especially after major natural disasters happen. Our church is usually ready to go and as soon as something happens we are often the first to respond and be there to help relieve others that are either nonmembers or members. Show more Show less

What is a ward/stake/branch?

NickScoville
A Ward is a community where members will meet and fellowship one another! A Ward is based on where you live! If you live in the geograpical lines of that ward you would attend Sunday and other meetings with the members in your Ward Boundaries! A bunch of Wards in an area create a Stake! Each Ward has a Bishop who oversee's that Ward and each Stake has a Stake President! The Stake President is over all the Bishops! Show more Show less
