Hi I'm Ken

I'm a Mormon. Originally from Indiana but I have lived in Florida for the last 44 years

About Me

I am a retired Steel Detailer Draftsman. I am married (my wife of 57 years is not a member), have two grown children and two grown grandsons.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was a young man, I had questions about some of the doctrines of the church I was attending. Later on, I investigated several other denominations. I prayed about my concerns. Mormon missionaries came to my door a few years later. I took a couple more years investigating the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I wanted to be sure the Church was true. I finally realized that my questions and concerns and my prayer from previous years had been answered and I was baptized when I was 42 years old.

How I live my faith

I accept any assignments given to me and try my best to fulfill them. I find much satisfaction when I am able to help someone.

Why are Mormons asked to donate 10% of their income to their Church?

Ken
The best answer was given by the Prophet Malachi in chapter 3 verses 8 through 12 in the Old Testament. I have never met anyone, regardless of which religion they practiced, that said they tried tithing and it didn't work for them. Show more Show less
