Hi I'm Sarah

I'm a New Yorker and a dog lover. I teach yoga, I laugh loudly, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a yoga instructor and health + wellness coach. I live in New York City with my husband and our rescue pup. I stay inspired through learning and experiencing this vibrant city each day. The beach is my happy place.

Why I am a Mormon

Any and every answer that I may have for this question ultimately comes back to my love and appreciation for my Savior, Jesus Christ. I believe in a vast array of truths, and continue to wrestle with questions I don't yet have answers for, but my belief in Jesus Christ is void of doubt. I believe in a God who loves each of His children equally. I believe in a God who has a plan and a purpose that will allow each one of us our greatest capacity for happiness. I believe in a God who sent His Son to live a life of love and sacrifice, and who lives again. I've come to believe in these truths through being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and through my own spiritual journey. Being a mormon allows me to align my actions and beliefs and to follow my Savior as a member of the organization He does uphold.

How I live my faith

Emile Coue, a French psychologist and optimist, coined the mantra "Every day, in every way, I'm getting better and better." The days I live my faith well are the days I feel I can claim that same mantra. My faith provides a framework to guide me in the ways I want to get better. The 13th article of faith (one of 13 statements describing our fundamental beliefs) states that we seek after "anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy." I try to live my faith by seeking after these things and sharing my pursuits with others.
