Hi I'm Josh.

I'm a divorce and custody attorney, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a divorce attorney in Salt Lake Valley. I'm married and have two children. We love the mountains and look forward to snowboarding and skiing when we can afford it again. We love reading literature, and trying new restaurants.

Why I am a Mormon

I have chosen to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for a couple of reasons. First, I've found that I am happiest when I am living the principles that Jesus Christ taught. I've had times in my life where I have lived these principles and times when I have strayed from these principles, and I am happiest when I am living these principles in a way I feel Jesus Christ desires that I live them. Second, I feel that it is what God wants for me. I have had many personal experience where I know for myself that God wants me to be an active member of the Mormon church. I know that Jesus Christ is my savior and died for my sins, and I know that this is what He wants for me, so I have chosen to follow it. What I love about this church is that the invitation to all is that you can know for yourself that it is the Christ's church lead by prophets today to bring us happiness and keep us safe in this increasingly confusing world.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be kind and loving to all members of humanity. My family attends church each Sunday and prays daily with our children in our home. In my professional life, I work with the other adult men in our area to help them through the difficulties that they are going through and to help strengthen their faith in Jesus Christ. My work as a divorce attorney is in an area where people are going through very difficult challenges and changes. I try to help my clients make decisions that are best for their families and strengthening the environment in which their children are going to grow. Family is extremely in God's plan, and I try to help parents create an environment where their children can escape the divorce as unscathed as possible.

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

Josh.
It is my experience that we come to know our Father in Heaven through praying to Him, reading his words as found in the Bible and the Book of Mormon, and through sincerely desiring to know Him. There are also things that have happened in my life that are little personal blessings that make life better that have been custom tailored to me. I know that God loves me personally from these little blessings. Show more Show less
