Hi I'm Cynthi

I'm short and sometimes sweet, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like to make art, music and ... yummy treats. I'm practically useless when it comes to most sports but love to ski and as far as I'm concerned flip-flops are the only footwear worth having. I always have a project on the go and will finish yours too if you're not careful. My heart belongs in Mexico City and someday I'm going to do a tandem bicycle tour with my husband.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the church when I was eighteen. I had been searching for direction for a long time with little luck, even giving up a few times. At one point I committed to myself that if I were to find out that God actually did exist, that it would be pretty important to live the way he wanted me to. It wasn't long after that a close friend introduced me to the missionaries. I was skeptical and my intention at first was to try and prove them wrong. As I continued to meet with them, I found that the things they said made perfect sense, there were actually answers to the difficult questions I had struggled with for so long. I could feel in my heart that the principles they were teaching were true because they brought me joy and peace of mind. I knew that being baptized was the path Heavenly Father wanted me to take. Becoming a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints was the best decision I have ever made. It has changed my life!

How I live my faith

Right now I serve as a youth group leader for teenage girls. We have a blast together learning life skills and serving others in the community.
