Hi I'm Kelle

I'm a wife and mom who has recently returned to college full-time and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My husband and I are "nearly empty nesters" - Our oldest son is serving a two year Mission for the Church, our daughter is a new mom and our youngest son is a freshman in college. I have been blessed to return to college and will graduate soon with a degree in Marriage and Family Studies. Then I'll be off to grad school to become a Clinical Social Worker.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, because 20 years ago, as a relative newlywed with an 8 month old baby and another one on the way, I learned that families can be together forever. Hearing the missionaries share with us the Plan of Salvation, where we came from, why we are here and where we are going and absorbing the awesome news that my marriage could continue on for Eternity, not just until death do us part, spoke to me as nothing I had ever learned before had. There was the strongest assurance that "THIS IS THE TRUTH" and it struck me to my core.

How I live my faith

I help administer our Church's early morning religious education program for our youth. Every school day at 6am they meet to learn about, discuss and apply the scriptures to their lives. Believe it or not, they actually show up! I am grateful they have the opportunity to grow closer to Christ and be spiritually strengthened. I have seen the blessings that come to them when they attend in part because my own children attended Seminary themselves.
