Hi I'm Dallas

I'm constantly playing a sport. I'm half white, but all Samoan. I love music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have a 3 year old daughter, a 2 year old son, and the best wife any man can ask for. I come from a very awesome family. I love sports, and will play pretty much any sport I can...except soccer (Samoans aren't runners). I couldn't live without music, and always have a soundtrack playing in my head.

Why I am a Mormon

Being raised in the church, I was spoiled by having the church in my life while growing up. I don't have a story where Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ appeared to me while I prayed. I had a Mother who, being the blessing she is, would make sure all of her 8 kids were up and ready for church on Sundays. And a father, who would patiently wake us up every weekday for seminary. It wasn't until I was older, and a family of my own, that I realized how important it is to have the gospel in my family's life. We were happy, at least we thought we were, but we knew something was missing. That there was more. It took some time, a lot of prayer, the love and support of my family, and the help of two very special missionaries from our ward. But I was able to baptize my wife last month, and she has a fire for the gospel. She wants to share her happiness with the whole world. And now we have the priesthood in our home. Living the commandments, and following the teachings of our Savior has blessed our life as family in ways we never thought possible.

How I live my faith

My wife and I are called as ward missionaries for our ward. The best part of our calling is that we get to share the happiness we have found through the gospel with others. We get to help investigators with questions about the church, and watch how it blesses their lives.

Are there restrictions based on race or color concerning who can join The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and have the priesthood?

Dallas
No, there are no such regulations..I would know. I am Samoan in a predominately white area of Florida, and never faced any type of discrimination by anyone from the church. Show more Show less
