Hi I'm Lee

I'm a Mormon....it's the greatest adventure on earth.

About Me

Born in Boston and still in the area. I'm married to a queen, father of 10, grandfather of 14...and counting. I'm an engineer, a geek, a stargazer, love my family, never met a dessert I didn't like and find fulfillment doing purposeful things with my time here on earth.

Why I am a Mormon

In response to the question "do you have anything I can read about your Church?" an LDS friend gave me a copy of the Book of Mormon. Anticipating that it was a book about the Church, its organization, history, etc. I was taken aback when I started reading to find that it was a history of an ancient people...with none of the information that I was originally seeking. Despite that I decided to read a few more pages and found it to be surprisingly engaging. Over the next month or so, while a student in college, I continued my reading. During that same time my friend arranged for LDS missionaries, two young men my age at the time, to visit me and who responded to some of my original questions. I was, however, most intrigued by their invitation to pray to find out for myself if the Book was true. I prayed, had a remarkable experience...and the rest is history.

How I live my faith

Since the day of my baptism, many years ago, I have attempted to live every principle of the Gospel as fully as I could. I've done so believing that they are all given to us by a loving Heavenly Father for our blessing and benefit. As parents my wife and I have arranged our family life to do all we could to pass this heritage to our children, believing that it is the greatest advantage one can have for living life fully and powerfully. Over the years I have had many assignments and responsibilities in the Church, some of which have been time consuming and challenging, however in hindsight each has turned out to be a marvelous opportunity to serve, grow and learn to depend more fully on the Lord. Without reservation I can say the Church is all that it claims to be...check it out and you'll be amazed...every day of your life.
