Hi I'm Lawrence Jr.

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. We are commonly known as Mormons.

About Me

I'm married and a father of 3 grown children. My wife and I have been members since 1978. I love to talked about the gospel and about Jesus Christ. I enjoy family activities and being around my friends, but I also enjoy the peace and tranquility of being by myself and with my wife of 36 years.

Why I am a Mormon

After being raised in the Methodist Church, I felt like something was missing in my life spiritually. I attended other faiths and studied their beliefs. Then one rainy day in Nov.'77, two young missionary Elders knocked on our door. The things they shared answered many questions and prayers. I found the spiritual emptiness was gone. I know that I am not perfect, that I am still a sinner, but now I know that through my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and can retain my happiness and some day return to live with my Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I attend all church services regularly. I teach non-members about our faith and our belief in Jesus Christ. I also help teach members by visiting them in their homes and teach lessons during church. I try very hard to live the commandments of our Savior by compassionate service to others both members and non-members alike

What are Mormon church services like? Are visitors allowed at church meetings? Can I attend church?

Lawrence Jr.
We have no paid Clergy. Every member participates to some degree(prayers, talks, teaching classses,etc.). Visitors are always welcome and can attend our services whenever they wish. Their is no better way to learn who we are than by worshipping the Lord with us. Show more Show less
