Hi I'm Trenton

I am a tech fanatic. I like to stay up to date. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like to read books. I play video games. My favorite sports are volleyball and soccer. I like humor and comedy and hanging out with my friends. I served a mission in the great state of Florida, in the Tampa area. I have two younger sisters and they are amazing. I enjoy the finer things of life like hunting and fishing and camping with my family. My life is what is because of who I follow. I love Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love my Savior Jesus Christ. But that is not all, I am a Mormon because of the Book of Mormon and the confirming witness from the Holy Ghost that it is God's word and that Joseph Smith is God's prophet that restored the church to the earth again. I want to follow my Savior to eternal life. I know this is what he asks of me and if I do my best then I will be blessed. I love Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father. Being in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has blessed my life and the life of my family.

How I live my faith

Right now my calling is to "Preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to all the world" and I am serving as a missionary in Tampa Florida. I love to read about all the brave men and women in the Bible and the Book of Mormon. Their examples help me to live a more Christ-like life there is so much that I have to learn still, that is why the scriptures say to learn 'line upon line, precept upon precept, here a little there a little.'  I live my life the way that I know Heavenly Father would like me to live helping and serving others and being with my family.

What is the Book of Mormon?

Trenton
The Book of Mormon is exactly what it says to the world it is Another Testament of Jesus Christ. It is scriptural evidence of the Savior's divine role in the plan of salvation, and another witness of Him written by God's holy prophets on the North and South American continents. These men like those in the Bible wrote their testimonies and teachings of God's Only Begotten Son. The Book of Mormon supports the Bible the Bible supports the Book of Mormon. With both in our hands, we have the fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ to help us obtain salvation in the kingdom of God. Show more Show less

What is a ward/stake/branch?

Trenton
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is a world-wide church. And as such each area of the world has different regions that are covered by different branches of the church like in the New Testament times where there were the different church throughout Asia in Corinth, Ephesus, and Rome. Today those branches are called wards/branches and stakes. A ward is a general area that has boundaries for a certain number of members, and the ward is led and guided by a man called the Bishop. A branch is a little smaller then a ward being led and guided by a man called the branch president. A stake has boundaries that cover over multiple wards and branches, and a man called the stake president leads and guides the stake. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe about Jesus Christ? Do Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God?

Trenton
We believe in God the Eternal Father, and in His Son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Only Begotten Son of God born here on the earth to take upon himself the sins, pains and sicknesses of all mankind in other words to preform the Atonement to open the gate to eternal life with Heavenly Father. We follow Christ's example to serve one another. We call ourselves disciples of Jesus Christ because we follow Him. This is His church that is why it is called the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. This is Christ's church, the members are called Saints, and we live in the Latter-Days or the last days before the Second Coming of our Lord and Savior. Show more Show less
