Hi I'm Rebecca

I'm a full-time mom of 3 young children. I'm also a small business owner starting a small bakery business. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I used to be an elementary school teacher, but now I am a full-time mom of 3 young children. My husband and I love to swing dance. We met through swing dancing and continue to love to dance together. I also started clogging about 2 years ago and discovered that I just love dancing in general. Since having my children, I have also developed a passion for cooking and baking. I love making healthy, good food for my family (with the occasional, not-so-healthy baked goods). Because of my love for food, my husband's aunt and I have started a home bakery business. We bake a variety of wholesome whole wheat bread and sweet treats. It makes for a very busy life, but I love that I can do it while still staying home to care for my young children.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a member of this church. However, in college I really had to develop my own testimony. I had a brief period where church was not priority, though I never doubted it's truthfulness. I soon realized that I was happier when I was living the gospel. I know that this gospel is the true gospel of my Savior, Jesus Christ. I know of His love for me. I am so grateful for the power of the Atonement and the chance for repentance so I can live with Him once more. Each day I look at my sweet young children and I have no doubt that they are children of God, as am I. He loves each one of His children, and for that I am ever grateful!

How I live my faith

I look forward to attending church each Sunday. My children love singing songs and learning about Jesus. I am currently helping out in the children's organization. I love seeing the children with their sweet innocence, as they sing and participate in the lessons. I am blessed to work with 3 women who work hard to organize everything and keep things running smoothly. It is so wonderful to see the love and commitment each of the teachers have for their class of young children. In addition to our weekly church meetings, my husband and I also pay tithing, and try to attend the temple at least once a month.
