Hi I'm Kimbie

I am a busy mother of eight and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I come from a very small town, so small that I was able to participate in just about every sport and activity that a young girl could imagine. I left at age 17 to pursue an education. I received both a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and a Masters in Sports Medicine. I worked as the Director of Nutrition and Personal Training at a large gym. I gave up a career to raise my eight children. Yes, I said eight and yes I am a bit crazy. I cook for 10 people at every meal, and although I do two or three loads of laundry in my large capacity washing machine every day, I am always behind. I love being a wife to a wonderful husband and a mother to my beautiful children. I wouldn’t want it any other way. I can't wait to see all the important things that my children will accomplish.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised Mormon. From a very young age I found it easy to believe the teachings of the prophets and the scriptures. I know that I am an important daughter of a loving Heavenly Father. I know that He loves me and that I can turn to Him in prayer and He will hear me and help me. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior. I want very much for my children to have this knowledge. I know that it will help them to face the challenges that will come their way. Knowing that our Heavenly Father has a plan and that I have a role in that plan is exciting to me. What a wonderful time to be alive, when the fullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored to the earth.

How I live my faith

Currently I am the President of our local Women's Organization. I oversee more than 100 women, most of whom have much more wisdom and experience than I do. Together we are able to support each other and come together to learn and serve our Heavenly Father. We meet each Sunday, and once a month on a week night as a social gathering or service project. Anytime that we find someone in need of service we are prepared to come to their aid. We have built a sisterhood that really feels like family. I love the women that I associate with very much. The goals of our organization are to increase our faith and personal righteousness, strengthen our homes and our families, and to serve others.
