Hi I'm Randall

I love the outdoors. I am a college student studying Construction Management. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am currently in college studying construction management and I hope to be able to use that to get into a masters program in architecture. I love playing any kind of sport and doing anything outdoors (especially mountain biking).

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints so that was a good foundation for me to get started. There did come a time in my life when I needed to find out if the church was true for myself. The easiest way to do that was to gain my own testimony of the truthfulness of The Book of Mormon. There is a scripture within it's pages that helped me gain my own testimony. It states: "3 Behold, I would exhort you that when ye shall read these things, if it be wisdom in God that ye should read them, that ye would remember how merciful the Lord hath been unto the children of men, from the creation of Adam even down until the time that ye shall receive these things, and ponder it in your hearts. 4 And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost. 5 And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things." I prayed to ask God if The Book of Mormon was true and consequently, to know if The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was the Lords only true church upon the earth today. He revealed to me that it is. I am so grateful for the many blessings that I receive from my Father in Heaven as I progress in this life and try to become more like Him. He wants to pour out so many blessings upon us but it is up to us to open the flood gates.

How I live my faith

Right now my calling the church is to prepare the sacrament for the church services in my own ward. Partaking of the sacrament is partaking of bread and water that is blessed by priesthood holders which represents the flesh and blood of Christ. I have also been given steward over a few individuals in my ward to make sure that their spiritual and temporal needs are being met. Other than that I just try to live my life in the way that Christ would have me live it. I am honest in my schoolwork and with my employer. I try to do my best in showing kindness and love to all those that I come across. Sometimes I fail and I make mistakes but as I apply the Atonement of Christ to my life I can feel it's cleansing power and it is something that I am very thankful for.
