Hi I'm Lindsey

I'm an Air Force wife, a mother and an active member. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the Air Force and than I married into it! I love to arrange flowers and build my own furniture for my home. I'm a new mother and couldn't be more excited!

Why I am a Mormon

Being raised Mormon was a wonderful experience but I wanted to find out I believed because of what I knew, not because of what I was told to. I left and went on my own for about 2 years. During this time; nothing made more sense to me than the church. I found I believed in Jesus Christ, the holy ghost and Heavenly Father. Than finding a man who believed the same as me, meant so much more. Having your very own testimony is so important. It makes your belief your own, something for you to rely on and believe in.

How I live my faith

I've only recently become active in the church but for the past year and a half, I've helped my sister with organizing get togethers with other members. We plan theme's, lessons, games and refreshments!

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Lindsey
My husband and I were recently sealed in the temple after a year and half of marriage. I became pregnant and there was nothing more important to me than getting sealed to my husband and allowing my children to be born in the covenant. We had prepared for the day in so many ways. We took temple prep classes during church, we paid our tithing faithfully, we prayed each morning and night together. Each of these aspects and so much more brought us closer together as a couple and closer to our goal of an eternal family. The temple is such a sacred place that we wanted to be fully prepared for our special day. Mormons do believe that families can be together forever in heaven because it is possible; because Heavenly Father wants nothing more for us to be sealed and return to him. Show more Show less
