Hi I'm Miriam Niedrokoj Lowa

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Micronesia born on a small island in the Republic of the Marshall Islands. At the age of four my family moved to then the capitol of the Trust Territory of the United States on Saipan, Northern Marianas Islands. It was on Saipan that my family was introduced the church and at ten years old, I was baptized along with my family. Our baptism was on a beautiful beach on the north side of the island, called PauPau Beach. Elder Henry VandenHazel baptized me that day and I am so grateful for him and the many missionaries that have come to the islands to spread the restoration of the gospel. I have been blessed to be part of that missionary work among my people. The 18 months of my mission have been one of the best times of my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have found that the news of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ has been real. I know that the Priesthood power of our real and loving Heavenly Father is in the church. I know that this is the only church on the face of the earth that is recognized by Heavenly Father and His Beloved Son, Jesus Christ to be Jesus Christ's church. The same one that he organized when he was here on earth himself.

How I live my faith

I try hard everyday to be kind, patient, faithful, and hopeful. I am always trying because I am so imperfect. I am grateful for a loving, merciful and forgiving Heavenly Father.
