Hi I'm Rich

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a husband, father and grandfather to my wife, six children and one grandson. I work as an IT Director for a major retail company. I am an avid fan of the SF Giants and 49ers.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Catholic Church attending a Catholic School. I joined the LDS Church when I was 19 years old. I met with the missionaries and they taught me to pray and feel the spirit. Although at the time I couldn't explain my testimony of the gospel and church, I knew in my heart by the spirit it was true. I read the Book of Mormon and received confirmation of its truthfulness by the spirit. I know that God lives, that Jesus is the Christ, that Joseph Smith is a prophet of God, that the Book of Mormon is true and that we have a Prophet on the earth today.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith in everything I do, but I enjoy serving in the church. I have had the opportunity to serve others as a: Home Teacher, Sunday School Teacher, Young Men's leader, and in various Priesthood and Auxilliary Leadership responsibilities.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

Mormons worship God our Eternal Father and look for salvation through Jesus Christ. Joseph Smith is the first Prophet of this dispensation and as such is respected by members for the life he led and the mission he fulfilled for all of us. We are grateful for him, but we don't worship him. Show more Show less
