Hi I'm Bruce

I'm a foot doctor and triathlete. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a 49 yo married (27years) male and father of four children, grandfather of two. I enjoy being with and doing things with my family as we are a tight knit group who knows how to have a good time. I am a podiatrist, practicing for 17 years, enjoy road and mountain biking, being out doors here in Arkansas and going to my boys soccer games.

Why I am a Mormon

Salvation is a very serious and personal concern for all. I recognize that Christ's true gospel has been restored complete with all the nesscesary teachings and saving ordainances for me and my family. The Church of Jesus Christ has been restored in these, the "latter days" I'm glad to take part in it.

How I live my faith

I give service in my church calling as lay minister and overseer of 16 congregations in north central Arkansas. This, along with my podiatry practice, keeps me busy but still has time for family, travel and being outside with my cycling friends.

What is the Word of Wisdom that Mormons talk about?

An inspired health code if followed will bring physical and spiritual blessings. It includes eating healthy foods and avoiding harmful substances ( smoke, drink, drugs...) received in 1830's before science knew of harmful effects. Show more Show less

Why do some call Mormonism a cult?

Some listen to others and not find out for themselves about our beliefs. We believe in the godhead as three distinct beings, God, the Father, his son Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost. Not all the same being as most other Christian churches believe. We also believe in additional scripture, the Bible AND the Book of Mormon. Maybe a different brand of Christianity--but not a cult.
