Hi I'm Tim

I'm an entrepreneur and family man. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a pretty normal guy. I've got a beautiful wife and two cute kids, a three-year-old and a one-year-old. My paternal grandparents are from Puerto Rico/Mexico, and my maternal grandparents are US born and raised. I was born in the US. I speak Spanish, but only because I went on a two-year Church mission to Uruguay. I own a web and mobile application development company. I've always wanted to be an entrepreneur; I started out as a employed programmer, then switched to freelance, then turned it into a real company when the workload got big enough.

Why I am a Mormon

I feel strongly that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints really is led by Jesus Christ, and that the President of the Church is a prophet of God. These are bold declarations, and I have had to work through lots of hours of study and prayer to come to that conclusion. I don't think God leaves us to try to answer these huge, existential questions ourselves; He wants us to know the truth and He will teach us if we ask Him.

How I live my faith

I'm astounded by the number of hours put in and seemingly endless energy put in by many in our congregation who love their neighbors and continuously serve the people around them. These people are role models and I try to be like that. There are lots of opportunities to serve that come up in our neighborhood, and I try as frequently as I can to be a part of those.
