Hi I'm Nadine

I love my family. I enjoy gardening and sewing and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mom and recently a grandmother. That is my most important role. I love my children very much, they bring me great joy especially as they make good choices and follow the Saviour. I also work in my home in a business with my husband. It is sometimes a challenge to balance home and work together but I try to focus on what is most important each day.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always believed in the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. As I have lived the standards and followed the teachings it has strengthened my faith, helped me live a full and productive life and brought great peace even in times of difficulties and hardships. I feel like being a Mormon is truly part of who I am. I feel blessed to have inspired leaders who guide us in this world of turmoil and strife. I know I have the truth in my life which is an anchor for all that I do.

How I live my faith

I love to serve in the church and currently teach the 12 and 13 year old Young Women. They are so loving and willing to learn the gospel. The youth of the church who make and acheive goals and live the gospel are some of the happiest youth I know. They are an inspiration and a light to others. I also am president of a local music festival. Even though I am not musical myself I believe in the power of good music and enjoy serving the community by providing an event that allows young people to develop their musical talents.

Why is it important for us to take care of our bodies? Why are our bodies called temples of God in the Bible?

I believe that we came to this earth to gain a mortal body. Many of the tests we face in this life have to do with how we take care of and control our bodies. We need to carefully choose what we take into our bodies. how we clothe our bodies and what we do with our bodies. Our bodies house our spirits - the place where our spirit dwells. Show more Show less
